Use
1-Octanol is mainly used in the preparation of phthalate ester and aliphatic diester plasticizers, such as dioctyl phthalate, dioctyl azelate and DOS, etc. Used as plastic main plasticizer and cold resistant secondary plasticizer, defoamer, dispersant, dressing agent and petroleum additive. Also used in dyeing and printing, paint, film and other fields.
